Welcome to The Ginger View

Many years ago, I published a blog viewed by roughly ten people called ¨The Ginger Files." There, I did a lot of musing about my own life and experiences, reviewed films, wrote A LOT about American Idol, and generally just added my voice to the noise.  It was fun, but it became time consuming, so I stopped.

The problem is that the blog satisfied an itch -- an itch to write, an itch to opine, an itch to be heard even if it means I am only being heard by ten people.  So I have thought a lot lately about getting back in the blog game -- this time focusing more outside of myself and my personal trials and tribulations and more on universal ideas and experiences, primarily pop culture critique.

So why not just revive ¨The Ginger Files¨?  I have a couple reasons.  I like the idea of a clean slate here.  To be honest, too, the ¨Files¨ were created under an email address I never use and trying to get into it has caused all kinds of hassle, so .... Iḿ lazy and taking the easy way out.

So join me as I stomp my way through pop culture and give my own view, the Ginger View, of icons old and new.  Iĺl review films, television, and more.  Yeah, you can probably expect politics and other issues to rear their ugly heads, too.  If itś something you can have an opinion on, chances are I just might circle around it to provide my view.  So enjoy.... if you like what you read, invite your friends and maybe we can get the view count up to 11.
